26 Indian Cobra Eggs Found in Fulbari Kitchen

26 Indian cobra eggs were discovered in a Fulbari kitchen, prompting a swift rescue by environmentalists who plan to release the snake and eggs into Baikunthapur forest.

Fulbari, Jun 23 (Siliguri Journal) – In a shocking discovery on Sunday morning, 26 venomous snake eggs were found in the kitchen of Naresh Roy’s home in Changrabandha village, Fulbari No. 2 Gram Panchayat.

The incident came to light when Naresh Roy, while cleaning his kitchen, was alarmed by an unusual sound. Upon closer inspection, he found a snake’s nest with several eggs beneath the cement floor. Naresh promptly informed an environmental organization in Siliguri about the discovery.

Subsequently, two members of the organization arrived at the scene and safely rescued both the snake and its eggs. The snake was identified as an Indian cobra, one of the venomous species found in the region. The rescued snake will be released into the Baikunthapur forest to ensure the eggs are not destroyed.
