Siliguri, Jun 19 (Siliguri Journal) – Mayor Gautam Deb visited the family of Ashish Dey, the guard of the Kanchanjunga Express who died in the Rangapani train accident. Dey, a resident of Sukanta Pally in Ward No. 32, Siliguri, had swapped his duty from the Shatabdi Express to the Kanchanjunga Express on Monday before the tragic incident.

On Wednesday, Mayor Deb visited Dey’s residence to offer his condolences and support. He spoke with Dey’s wife and family, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss.
