Siliguri, 23 Nov (Siliguri Journal) – The Ratna Bhattacharya Memorial Protection Committee is set to host a special program marking the second anniversary of Ratna Bhattacharya’s passing on November 27. Join us for this event at Dinabandhu Manch (Tathya Kendra) in Siliguri as we remember and honor Ratna Bhattacharya.
Ashok Bhattacharya, a seasoned CPI (M) leader, revealed the event details during a press conference at the Siliguri Journalist Club. The program will highlight a speech by Professor Sanjay Mukherjee (Mukhopadhyay) focusing on the Ratna Bhattacharya Memorial. Additionally, the event will feature the talented Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet musician, Shama Rahman, a rising star in the field.
As per reports from the press conference on Thursday, former mayor Ashok Bhattacharya announced that there will be annual cultural events to honor the day. The program kicks off on November 27, starting with a speech by Professor Sanjay Mukherjee at approximately 6:30 p.m. Following the speech, the event will continue with a Rabindra Sangeet performance by Shama Rahman.
