Siliguri, Nov 24 (Siliguri Journal) – Panitanki Outpost cops, working together with traffic police, found foreign money at Bidhan Market in a recent update. On Friday afternoon, a local resident informed Traffic Police Guard MD Khalilul Rahman about foreign currency notes near a tea shop next to Hotel Dolin, as per reports.
Following this, the traffic guard successfully retrieved the foreign currency and promptly informed Panitanki Outpost cops. Upon receiving the information, the police from Panitanki Outpost swiftly arrived at the scene, and the recovered notes were handed over to them.
As per police sources, the currency retrieved is from Cambodia, comprising 7 notes of 1000 denominations and 26 notes of 50 denominations. The total value of the recovered notes is 8,300 in Cambodian currency. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the entire situation.
