Minister of State for Forest Birbaha Hansda Arrives in North Bengal After Hollong Bungalow Fire

Siliguri, Jun 22 (Siliguri Journal) – Following the devastating fire at Hollong Bungalow, Minister of State for Forests Birbaha Hansda has arrived in North Bengal.

Minister Hansda reportedly traveled from Kolkata, arriving at Bagdogra Airport on Saturday before heading to Alipurduar. She is scheduled to meet with Forest Department officials to discuss the incident.

Speaking to the media, Minister Hansda confirmed that an investigation into the fire is underway. She stated that a team is being assembled to conduct a thorough inquiry and emphasized that no conclusions can be drawn until the investigation is complete. Additionally, a meeting was held on Friday to address the maintenance of the forest bungalow.
