Siliguri, August 19 (Siliguri Journal) – In a gesture to strengthen the bond between the police and medical professionals, the Siliguri District Hospital celebrated Raksha Bandhan. On this occasion, police officials visited the hospital to tie traditional rakhi threads on the wrists of doctors. Siliguri Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, along with other senior police officers, took part in the ceremony. In a reciprocal gesture, the doctors also tied rakhi threads around the wrists of the police officers.
